Adaq (also known as Nadhr) Qurbani is a fulfillment of a personal vow made to Allah. It is performed when someone has promised to offer a sacrifice if their wish is fulfilled. Once the wish is fulfilled—such as healing from illness or achieving a goal—the person becomes responsible for carrying out the Qurbani. It is an act of integrity and faithfulness, performed as soon as possible with sincere intention.
